WHO WE ARE
Calvary Child Care Center is a ministry of Calvary Full Gospel Church. The child care center began in 1995, birthed from a vision in our Senior Pastor's heart ~ an outreach to the community and its children. The theme of our center is "Jesus Loves Me" - a theme that is woven throughout each child's day as they play, learn, and experience the wonder of God's world! We strive to meet the whole child's needs ~ spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual. The difference at Calvary Child Care Center is that it is our goal to put Jesus first and include Him in everything!

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
We believe that children learn best by experiencing the world around them in a hands-on manner ~ using their senses to explore and grow! At Calvary Child Care Center, families will see the children engaged in learning centers daily. Learning centers are exploratory and skill areas set up for the children that revolve around both biweekly themes and also the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. During learning centers, children are given opportunities to choose and make decisions about where to play and how long to stay in each area - this strengthens the childrens' problem-solving skills. Children of all ages are also involved in interactive circle times which involve stories, poems, rhymes, and songs. The day is designed to be well-rounded, encompassing times to be active and times to be quieter so that each child has a variety of experiences during the time in which we are caring for them.
The infant room is designed around the childrens' individual needs and schedules, and provides for a wealth of language buliding experiences as the caregivers talk, sing, and expand on their little sounds. Weather permitting, the infants are taken outdoors in a large stroller.
WHO WE SERVE
Calvary Child Care Center serves the following age groups:
Infants
~ beginning at 6 weeks of age
Toddlers
~ 12 months old by Sept 1st, walking steadily, eating all solid foods, taking one nap per day
Youngest Preschool
~ Two years old by Sept. 1st
Preschools
We currently have 3 preschools ~ for each room, chlidren must be completely toilet trained
> Preschool Peace
~Three years old by Sept. 1st
> Preschool Joy
~Four years old by Sept. 1st
> Preschool Love
~A mix of preschoolers!
Before & After School
~We provide transportation to and from the following Pennsbury Schools: Oxford Valley, Village Park, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Fallsington Elementaries- transportation is provided only for Grades 1-5. We apologize that we cannot accomodate half day Kindergarten students, as we have our own full day Kindergarten at Calvary.

**Unlimited hours of care between 6:30AM-6:00PM
**Breakfast (7:30-7:45 AM), 2 Snacks, and Lunch

Calvary Child Care Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare / Office of Child Development and Early Learning. We voluntarily participate in the Keystone Stars program, a quality improvement program in Pennsylvania. We go beyond the minimum requirements set forth by the state regulations to provide the maximum benefit to your child!
