Overview of Calvary Christian School

Calvary Christian School is a small but growing school located in Fairless Hills - in Lower Bucks County, PA.  We are within the Pennsbury School District and close to Morrisville, Levittown, Fallsington, Langhorne, Yardley and other local communities.  We are also just over the bridge from the Trenton, NJ area.  We are a ministry and extension of Calvary Full Gospel Church (www.calvaryfullgospel.org).  

We have one full time teacher per classroom - each teacher brings with him/her a personal relationship with Christ, as well as a minimum of a Bachelors' Degree in Education and a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification.  Many of our teachers exceed this requirement, some holding Masters' Degrees and multiple certifications.  The teachers and staff of Calvary  Christian School strive to create a family atmosphere where each child is valued and respected and has the opportunity to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ in practical ways.

Quick Facts

School Hours -  Calvary Christian School operates from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday.   Students may be dropped off between 8:30-8:55 AM and picked up by 4:00 PM.  Before & After School Care is available, for students in Grades K-5, between 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM 

Transportation - Local school districts within Pennsylvania provide bus transportation to and from Calvary Christian School.  The districts that transport to our school are Pennsbury, Neshaminy, Bristol Township, Bensalem, and Council Rock.  No bus transportation is available for New Jersey students ~ parents provide their own transportation. 

Class Sizes - Average class size is about 11 students.  Maximum class size is 20 for Grades 1-8.  Maximum size for Kindergarten is 24 with both a teacher and assistant.   Calvary Christian School does not combine grades.  Our total school enrollment averages around 100 students in Grades K-8, which enables us to get to know each child personally and maintain a family atmosphere!

Uniforms - Calvary Christian School students do wear uniforms.  Our uniforms are a navy/white color scheme and differ from elementary to middle school. 

Meals - Students may choose either to pack or buy lunch daily.  We have a kitchen onsite and serve a full meal daily, including an entree, vegetable, fruit, and milk.  Lunch is purchased by using meal tickets which are available in various quanitiies from the office.  View a SAMPLE MENU HERE!

Financial Information

2011-2012 School Year

Tuition:

$4,500.00 annually

Option 1~ 10 payments of $450.00 per month from September to June   or

Option 2 ~12 payments of $375.00 per month from September to August

     *Discounts offered:

          -7% sibling discount

          -10% Calvary Full Gospel Church family discount

          -10% discount for parents actively serving in the military

          -10% discount for families with a parent(s) serving as a full time pastor(s)

          -30% discount for families with 3 or more children

     *Tuition is due in check or money order form only, paid directly to the office

     *There is no discount for prepaying the annual tuition

 

Fees:

  *Technology Fee - $230.00 per student annually ~ can be divided into 10 payments of $23.00 per month from September to June

          NOTE - The technology fee cannot be spread over 12 months - the technology fee must be paid within the 10 months of the school year

  *Book Fee - $175.00 per student annually ~ due on or September

 *Registration Fee - $100.00

  There is no application fee.  No discounts are applied for fees, only tuition.
