CALVARY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PTO VOLUNTEER 2007-2007

Praise the Lord! With the children back in school it is time to organize and coordinate the various committees and activities that our PTO performs each year. We would like to thank you for all of your hard work in past years, and also thank you in advance for all of your time and efforts that you will be committing to the school and our children this year. God bless you!

For those of you who are new to our school, we offer a very extensive volunteer program. We provide support for teachers both in the classrooms and out. We also provide information and support to assist you as a parent. Our needs for some programs require as little as two hours per month to programs that require 1 – 2 hours per week. Whatever amount of time you can give will bless and benefit our children.

Please fill out the attached form and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher. Be as specific as possible in your response. We need to know what days are most convenient and what times are best for you. If you are not sure yet if you can help at this time, please go ahead and sign up any way. This way we can call you on an as needed basis. We realize that life gets very busy and we can’t always “do it all”, but please, take a few minutes to review our volunteer list and do whatever you can to help.

This is by no means an exhaustive list! Please watch the Monday envelope for opportunities that develop throughout the school year. For any questions concerning the volunteer program, feel free to call the school at 215-736-2391. Again, thank you for all of your time and efforts!!

The following is a brief description of each committee. We hope this will help you determine the time required and the time of year the activity is offered.
