    Director

    Director of Calvary Christian School, Calvary Child Center and Calvary Children's Ministries. Affectionately known as "Miss Robin," her warm smile and caring heart endears her to children and adults alike.  Robin holds a Bachelor in Science in Education from Temple University and has many years of experience working with children of all ages.  Robin is additionally on staff at Calvary Full Gospel Church.

    assistant director

    Assistant Director of Calvary Child Care Center & Calvary Christian School since 1995.  She holds a Bachelors' Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education as well as a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification.  She currently serves in the Preschool Joy classroom.


    Linda enjoys the dramatic arts / theatre and spending time with her 3 girls, all of who have been a part of Calvary Child Care Center and Calvary Christian School.  


  • Sara Ellis

    Office STAFF

    Miss Sara serves as building opener and various administrative roles throughout the day.  She keeps our social media and website running.  During the school day, she is the third grade teacher with a B.S. in Bible from Cairn University, a B.S. in Elementary Education from Cairn University, and a STEM Endorsement from Delaware Valley University.



  • rENEE mANZO

    administrative assistant

    Ms. Renee serves as an administrative assistant at Calvary Christian School & Child Care Center since 2014.  She has worked in the administrative field for over 20 years.  She loves Jesus and being part of the Calvary family.  Renee lives in Yardley with her husband and 3 children.

  • Ms. Michelle serves in the finance department of both our school & childcare center, as well as the church. Michelle has an accounting degree and previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 10 years. Her two boys attend Calvary Child Care Center and Christian School. Michelle and her family also faithfully attend Calvary Full Gospel Church. Michelle is involved with children's ministry at Calvary, where she co-leads Kids Nights throughout the year. Michelle loves being at Calvary as it has always been a second home to her. 

All of our teaching staff hold valid Pennsylvania teaching certifications.

  • CHRISTINA ROWSEY

    Kindergarten

    Mrs. Rowsey has a passion to share the love of Christ with children and is so thankful she has the opportunity at Calvary. Mrs. Rowsey grew up in Levittown and currently resides in Fairless Hills. She is married and has four children. She worked in childcare for about sixteen years and was blessed to have her children attend with her. Once her children were of school age she attended Liberty University and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Rowsey then continued with her graduate studies at Liberty University to become dually licensed in Elementary and Special Education.

  • Lauren tomlinson

    Kindergarten

    Lauren Tomlinson has a degree in early childhood and elementary education. Lauren previously taught as one of our Pre-K teachers as well as 2nd grade and has a wealth of knowledge with hands on learning.  Lauren's love for Jesus is evident in each interaction she has with children and adults.  Lauren's children attend Calvary Christian School.

  • MERIDITH BROWN

    2nd grade

    Meridith Brown teaches Second Grade at Calvary Christian School, and has been teaching at Calvary since 2009.  She graduated from Eastern University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with certifications in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  In 2012, Mrs. Brown graduated from La Salle University with her Master's Degree in Special Education.  Mrs. Brown is married and has a son and a daughter who both attend Calvary Christian School.

  • sara ellis

    3rd grade

    Sara Ellis teaches Third Grade at Calvary Christian School, and has been teaching here since 2008. She graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelor's of Science in Bible and a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education.  She is currently enrolled at Holy Family University working towards a Master's Degree in Education with a Principal Certification. Miss Ellis attends Calvary Full Gospel Church where she is involved with children's ministries.

  • donna velenchik

    4th Grade

    Donna Velenchik teaches 4th grade.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Central Queensland University.  Mrs. Velenchik has experienced the education system in Australia (her homeland), Japan, and now the U.S. with over twenty years of teaching experience.  


    Her background is in secondary education (math, science, and Japanese) and has also taught in chidl She was born and raised in Australia and has spent time living in Japan.

  • sarah mccann

    5th grade

    Sarah McCann teaches fifth grade at Calvary Christian School.  She graduated from Clarks Summit University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education.  She is married to her husband, David, and they have a beautiful daughter and a son who attend Calvary Child Care Center and Christian School.  In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects and playing with her rescue dog, Rocky.  She was born and raised in Michigan, but currently lives in Bordentown, NJ.

  • michelle tanghare

    social studies & BIble - middle school

    Michelle Tanghare teaches Bible and Social Studies for middle school at Calvary Christian School.  She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a dual degree in both Secondary Education and History.  She is currently working toward a Master's Degree in Special Education from The College of New Jersey.  Michelle and her husband Chris live with their three little boys Elijah, Ezekiel, and Samuel in Langhorne, PA.  Together they attend Calvary Full Gospel Church and are actively involved in youth and children's ministries.


    Mrs. Tanghare loves teaching a unit called "The Faith of Our Founding Fathers."  She is a gifted party planner and co-leads our Kid Rally's at Church.

  • Gena CLark

    Science & Math - middle school

    Mrs. Clark teaches math and science to our Middle Schoolers. Mrs. Clark is full of the joy of the Lord!  She loves teaching and pouring into the lives of the students.


    Gena enjoys kick boxing and supporting her children's extra curricular activities.  Her and her family attend Calvary Full Gospel Church.

  • Christina farina

    music

    Christina teaches music at CCS. She’s a 2006 graduate of Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and assumed her first Worship Director position at the age of 19. She’s directed multiple church worship and music ministries in both New York and Pennsylvania since that time. 


    Christina is honored to be teaching at Calvary Christian School and currently serves at Calvary Full Gospel Church in Remnant Youth Ministry, the Calvary Full Gospel Worship Team, and Sprouted Kids Ministry. 


    She is married to Pastor JD Farina, and they have three children, David, Gianna, and Sofia.

The staff of Calvary Child Care Center are the heartbeat of the ministry.  Our wonderful teachers are the glue that sticks the day together, serving selflessly day in and day out for our precious little lambs.  Each staff member is handpicked by God!  In accordance with state regulations, each teacher has three background checks completed, document a minimum of 2 years' prior experience caring for children, and most importantly, brings with them a personal relationship with Jesus.  We provide ongoing professional development and training to continually look for ways to improve in the ways in which we care for our children!

    Miss Donna has been teaching at Calvary for 17 years.  She is happily married to Mr. Glenn for 27 years and have 3 children.  Her son lives in Texas with his wife and daughter.  Her twin daughters live locally.  Ms. Donna is a big Phillies baseball fan and she enjoys spending time at the beach.  She loves helping children grow in their faith of the Lord, and sharing lots of hugs.

  • Miss Jen was a part of the child care ministry years and years ago in Youngest Preschool, and now God has placed her back where she began.  Miss Jen is known for her lively sense of humor and keeping the day fun!
